web design for us small fishes
WHO ARE THESE SMALLFISH?
Pictured here are Steve Brettler and Tricia O'Neill the principle web architects, designers, and floor sweepers here at smallfish-design.
Is it just two of you, you say? Darn right we answer.. Our tag line does say web design for us small fishes and we are serious about the small part. Staying small means that if you decide to do a project with us, we will do the work on your site and we will be the ones to answer your questions and guide you through the design development process. And that's important.
Steve Brettler spent much of his adult life as the owner-manager of the E.P Levine Company. It was there, as a result of his fortuitous purchase of the domain name cameras.com way back in the infancy of the WWW, that he became interested in the potential of the web as a sales tool. Eventually he wore himself out, sold the cameras.com domain, and left his company in the capable hands of an employee and a business partner.
It's all good for you though because now he develops small business web sites and dispenses odd bits of small business acumen along the way
Brettler studied photography and music at Bennington College, and is currently learning how to play the Uilleann Pipes.
Tricia O'Neill: In addition to her role as smallfish-design chief fontographer and color guru, Tricia owns and operates Signs-Unique a full service sign shop specializing in custom hand painted and computer generated lettering, signs and wall murals. She is also an award winning photographer whose work can be seen at www.triciaoneill.com
O'Neill is a graduate of the Butera School of Art as well as Tufts University and the Boston Museum School.
