While Copley Fine Art Auctions has a deserved reputation as the goto auction house when it comes to American sporting art, they felt that their existing site didnt project an image that was on par with their more well know international competitors. Additionally they felt handicaped by a site that made it impossible to easily and rapidly update critical areas such as their auction preview.

Bed and Breakfast Reservations is a personalized reservation service that provides data on and makes reservations for B&B's and small inns located in coastal MA. They manage a fairly large amount of data including multiple images for each property they list, and needed a way to efficiently manage this back-end data while effectively presenting an orderly view to prospective clients. smallfish-design provided the solution to both requests by utilizing a mySql database with PHPscripting and an elegant easily navigable site.

This deceptively simple home page fronts a complete and complex e-commerce system based on the open source Zen Cart Shopping Cart. Treetop Yoga is a joint effort between a local acupuncturist and a chiropractor who know first hand how the practice of Yoga influences people's lives. This simple site has a powerful back end admin that allows them to add instructor bios and class descriptions without having any knowledge of HTML. We also integrated a Google calendar so their clients can tell at a glance what classes are offered and when.

Typical to a lot of museums, the New Bedford Whaling Museum's collections are largely unseen due to limited exhibition space. This on-line exhibit brings to the web a fraction of one such body of work, a collection, named for its primary creators Dr. Henry Prescott and his Hester Swift Prescott In its entirety, the collection consists of an estimated 1,300 negatives and 188 photographic albums holding over 8,500 individual images. We present approximately 500 of the best images in this site.

Garcia, Galuska & DeSousa is a civil engineering firm who's recent growth had outpaced their original site. G-G-D called in smallfish-design to provide a fresh and accurate look to their site, an easily updatable employee list and a comprehensive portfolio of their work.

Peter Combs is one of the most successful sellers of antiquities on eBay. He wanted a web site that would build on his eBay track record and both expand his online presence and allow his current customers to be better acquainted with his inventory. plcombs.com facilitates this by allowing him to post his inventory with an unlimited number of luscious images. We incorporated both PayPal and Google checkout to make it easy and safe for his customers to purchase online.

Bill Cosby and Rebecca Wallace are two talented and dedicated acupuncturists who have created a center for the alternative healing arts on Cape Ann. They additionally invite a variety of complimentary practitioners to provide comprehensive alternative health care services from their space on Main Street. smallfish-design worked closely with them to create a site that reflects their vision of compassionate, comprehensive mind body health care in a site that's both educational and easy to navigate.

Myra Distributing is one of the largest industrial lubricant distributors in the northeast. When they needed to implement a comprehensive redesign and face lift, they chose smallfish-design. Working closely with the owners we designed a site that visually sets them apart from the competition, enhances their world class service, and is easily updatable.

John Sarno runs a small quirky glass fabrication company that prides itself on offering the best service and product available... period. He wanted a site that portrayed his personal style as well as the caliber of his and his familie's work, and according to him... we gave it to him.

Enterprising artist George Bouret started this site in early 2008 when the local Arts community's needs for representation and gallery space exceeded that of his physical gallery in Pawlet Vt. He's just getting started but drop over to see and purchase the best of what the Southern Vt art community has to offer.

We can't take credit for the design of this site. Edie is a talented photographer and web designer herself, so the credit for that is hers. We did however, help her integrate a shopping cart into her site, something that she had struggled with doing on her own.

Common Crow is Gloucester's natural foods market. We designed their site to reflect their desire to offer only the healthiest of products in every category they carry, and to allow them to communicate with their customers with easily updatable coupons, events and news articles. If you don't know them drop in for some healthy advice and some healthy food.

Jill Pabich is an award wining faux painter, who can turn a bedroom into a jungle, or paint a wall to look like exquisite linen or even marble. We used actual faux finishes of Jill's as the backgrounds of each of the pages. A password protected back end allows Jill to add a new project or image in a flash.

Photographer George Chambers photographs endurance athletes and needed a way to distinguish himself from his competition as well as a site to serve as a gateway for athletes ordering his various product. We designed a complex back end that makes it easy for George to update his races and product availability. A smart order form shows only the products that are available for each event and then sends the order notifications to different places depending on whats ordered.

This is a site we built for a neighbor hood beach association. It's used as a clearing house for goings on in Brier Neck, and to communicate good and sad news to the members many of whom are not full time residents. What you can't see is a membership database that centralizes all membership information for use of the association officers.

My own family's web site, exploring a quirky notion of mine... to locate an ancestor who's picture I found in my late father's desk drawer. We've used some forum software as a way to locate other individuals sharing a fairly obscure family name.

Way back before we were married I made this little site for Tricia. She is a dedicated photographer, and this simple site frames her work inside of a piece of large format film from a camera she was using at the time.

Keith Johnson is a prolific and talented photographer, who needed a site that wouldn't overpower his subtle work. We provided Keith with a simple back end that allows him to create new portfolios, and add and subtract images from it instantly. He can also easily edit his events page which chronicles his busy exhibition and teaching schedule, as well as his links page with out having a bit of HTML knowledge.
